HOW TO GET

FROM QUITO

By bus: The distance from Quito to Cuenca is 480 km and the estimated travel time is 6-8 hours. You can take the bus at Terminal Quitumbe (north of the city) or at Terminal Carcelén (south of the city), the arrival point is Terminal Terrestre de Cuenca. From there you can take public transport or a taxi to La Cigale, which is approximately 10 minutes away.

By plane: The estimated flight time is 55 minutes. Flights depart from Mariscal Sucre International Airport, also called Tababela Airport and arrive at Mariscal La Mar Airport. From there you can take a bus or a taxi to La Cigale, which is approximately 15 minutes away.

FROM GUAYAQUIL

By bus: The distance from Guayaquil to Cuenca is 196 km and the travel time is around 4h 15m. The buses leave from the Terminal Terrestre de Guayaquil and arrive at the Terminal Terrestre de Cuenca. From there you can take public transport or a taxi to La Cigale, which is approximately 10 minutes away.

By plane: You should check the flight time with the airline as there may be stopovers. Flights depart from José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport and arrive at Mariscal La Mar Airport. From there you can take a bus or a taxi to La Cigale, which is approximately 15 minutes away.
